Games on Linux

im currently trying to gather a collection of major games, released in native Linux form

here's the ones i've gotten so far, (and ones i know exist)

Anyone know any other games i might have missed?

There used to be a studio called Loki Entertainment who converted good/great PC games for Linux. It's defunct since 2002 though. Here's the list of games they did:

I don't think Counterstrike has a native Linux version, you need to use a Windows emulation layer thing.

I heard that sombody was working on porting Homeworld, dunno if it was a serious project, might be worth looking at.

right, but you usualy pay for Games? so i can't link to a WoW site or a Demo of a game either? oh well, not bitching or anything - just find it odd, gonna download and try this when i get home from this bloody long nightshift.

Generally no, but that's another story.

etartin made two posts, both direct links to that site,if you don't think that's an attempt to drag people in to sign up then I dunno, there is a difference between you, me or any other long standing memeber saying , 'hey I tried this, it's really cool, but you gotta pay in the end' to someone who signs up, posts two links to something he may well be affiliated to and then vanishes.
