Videos are upside down

I recently installed version 5.58 on WinXP SP3 and now most of my videos are shown upside down.

I have the Xvid codec installed since ages and have updated Winamp everytime a new version came out, but I never had this upside down problem till now.

Why does it happen (Winamp bug?) and how do I fix it?

Please attach a dxdiag log and a List of Plugins log:

The most common cause is old onboard graphics drivers

Have you tried using the new "Vertically flip videos" option in Prefs -> Video?

I'm not going to attach the DxDiag file, there's too much personal information in it and I'm too lazy to censor it all. I have the oldsk00l and Last.fm plugins.

My onboard graphics card is an "Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family" and I updated the drivers yesterday because of this problem.

If I use that flip option, will this flip ALL videos, even those who are displayed correctly? If so, that won't really solve the problem. What was changed in Winamp that this bug suddenly happens?

I need more info, as requested.

What type of videos are they? What's the extension? AVI, MP4, other?

Are you using the free version of Winamp, or is it a Pro-registered version?

If the free version, then try installing ffdshow (ie. use it instead of xvid)
http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/

And yes, alas, I think the new 'flip videos' option will flip all videos.

Free version, only tested with AVIs (Xvid, DivX) so far. Can Winamp even play anything else like MOV/MP4?

I don't want to install ffdshow additionally, as I have VLC Player anyway. I'm currently using the latter to properly watch the faulty videos, but sometimes it can be annoying to switch between the programs when I go from listening music to watching videos.
