Hopefully, in a couple of years time, i will be cruising the American highways on my HD.

fords don't suck!

but if that's your opinion then fine, be good with ur 4x4 for city driving... hehe!

when ur city driving you pick a city car, hence ford introduced the beautiful mustang to fill that spot completely and fully with beauty and style. not to mention you can make the windows on the houses around you shake with the bass from the NICE musac sys..

why DO people buy huge 4x4 trucks just to drive around in the city? makes very little sence 2 me..

I personally don't think the mustang is much of a 'city car'

maybe the ford focus or the old ford fiesta, in europe too. the mustang is not really fuel efficient and isn't short. it's certainly more manageable than an SUV, but i'd say it doesn't really fit a use market. it's a fun sports car, a touring coupe or something. no backseat, no trunk means not very 'useful' don't get me wrong, 'stangs and the like are fun stuff, but if you think they're 'city cars' you need to spend some time in a big euro city like paris and see what those crazies drive around. go to smart.com to see the extreme.

scotty you are somewhat correct.

Mustangs are not quite ment for city driving, and i agree - they are "for fun" cars, u drive them for the fun of it. and yes if you want city driving, u go for something with a V4 that doesn't take much gas and is quiet and easy to drive.

but i stay by my point - Mustangs rock!

Yeah, I always thought mustangs were... sports cars, not city cars- ford's "city car" is of course the lincoln towncar.

My car-
1989 Mercedes 300E - It's not fast, but its a very smooth ride. Also, it's comfortable and sounds good inside (A recently installed new air conditioner and stereo system) and stylish, yet conservative and elegant on the outside
Plus the engine is O so very gas effecient... (a definite plus in these troubling times)

It's got more innate charisma than one of those SUV/Battle tank monstrosities will ever have...

Xerxes- My dad owns a '99 E320, but I gotta say, it's not as luxurious as yours. The E class has gotten much sportier over the years. Can't say I'm impressed with the direction MB is taking. Damned merger

Yes Ford's and Dodges suck!!! Chevy's rule.

We do own a Ford Explorer. It sucks. A/C has been fixed 24+ times, freon leakes, the engine fan broke 6 times, and the battery will go dead if you park near a swimming pool (I think it's a curse of some sort on only me).

I have a 1992 teal Mazda MX-3 with a big-ass dent right behind the driver's door. It's a hatchback with more power than your average lincoln or such. Top speed, probably up around 140. But I pay compact car insurance, instead of sports car insurance, which is nice, b/c I just got a ticket for 77 in a 55 zone... oops. Damn DMV out on remote country highways... grr. Oh well, I have an attorney trying to get it reduced. Back to the car. Everything is factory except the radio that I got for my 18th b-day. Nice cd player/radio w/ removable face. I don't have a souped up car, a big car, a truck, or anything like that. I have a ground hugging mini car that's damn fun to drive. And I can fit my bike in the trunk.

Good rims, good sound, good speed, which is all I need!
Well, I also need counseling but that is another story...

naaaahhh, the Jeep's for driving through camping, fishing, and hunting - thus not all city driving - infact it sees more dirt than city pavement since i dont use it much, and might i add for the music i have a sony mp3 stero/cd-rw player so fuck the riaa.

my opinion stands, fords can suck my dick - y does everyone think ford invented the car ? Benz(in the 19th century) was making vehicles way B4 ford (way b4 they merged with mercades, then chrysler).

Another point:
Henry Ford was not the first person to use an assembly line to mass produce cars. Ransom Olds was the first. Henry Ford was just the first to incorporate a conveyor belt into the assembly line.

This point of disinterest has been brought to you by The Sarge. Sarge, making babies and uninteresting points in the Winamp.com forums since June 2000. =)

Yeah, I learned how to be a pimp at ITT Tech

No, i just have a taste for luxurious vehicles... my rule for buying cars- the more plushier inside, the better I don't really care about all the engines and cogs and moving dynanmos inside the hood... (the stuff gearheads like to compare) as long as the damn thing doesn't break down its all good.

I believe he means the SS version of the Monte Carlo, not of the Camaro. =) Before the sportier version of the Monte Carlos were given the SS tag, they were known as the Z34. =) Also, the newest version of the S-10 that replaced my SS is the Xtreme. Don'cha just love name changes? =P

Yes, the 86 RX7 had the rotary as shown below in cutaway:

my parents let me drive a 2000 chevy malibu. it's white with a greyish color cloth interior. 3.1 liter V6. 170hp. about 106,000 miles on it. awsome sound system(stock). good rims. smooth ride. easy to drive. it also gets decent mileage.
