I'm new to winamp, but don't see any overall user
documentation. Can someone point me to a help file? Example: some broadcasters give visitors the uption of using Windows media player or the real player only. Is there a way to tune in to their broadcast using winamp? This is not intuitive in preferences or any where else I can find. Thabnks!! |

If you click on the "Get Winamp" link at the top of the page, you will then see numerous links to the Winamp Documentation (Docs, Walkthrough, Overview, FAQ, Online Help, etc)
Further advice can be found in Tech Support Greatest Hits forum. This particular thread includes lots of useful links, including the ones I mentioned above: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=36850 Some sites give you the choice to use Winamp, eg: live365.com, myplay.com, etc ...whereas others don't. Naturally, if the site uses mp3 / m3u / pls streams and Winamp is your default player for these filetypes, then Winamp will handle the stream accordingly. If it is a secure streaming format of the type that only RealPlayer or MediaPlayer can use . . . . . . then sadly it won't! ![]() |

Thanks a million you guys. I knew there had to be a ton of
help somewhere. It just wasn't obvious from the home page or the forums where it might be lurking. |
