Repeat Error Message

I forgot there was a CD in my drive and winamp 5 makes a popup message saying "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive M:."

When I click cancel I get the same message over and over again and have to shutdown winamp via ctrl+alt+delete (task manager)...

any suggestions?

Not heard of that one before.

Put a CD in the drive.

When Winamp opens, clear the playlist,
then use the Open File menu
and play a file from your hard drive.

btw, have you installed any 3rd-party plugins?
eg. an autoplay plugin.

Relevant entries in winamp.ini (Winamp dir)

Last track played (corresponds to playlist no.):
pilp=

Current Windows Dir:
cwd=

With Winamp closed, you can edit those lines by opening winamp.ini in Notepad.
