What has happened with issuing for dev keys?
Hi,
I trying to obtain a developer key to allow me to add support to SHOUTcast to my linux based rhythmbox media player. I've sent - twice over two weeks - emails to the email address here - however, no response unfortunately. Is the information correct on this web-page? - http://www.shoutcast.com/partner_request_form Is there a freeze on issuing of developer keys? Any help on this would be gratefully received |

that is the correct page. to my knowledge all requests are logged but that does not guarantee being accepted or getting a response (as it has always been i believe).

oh well - thanks anyway. I would have loved to add shoutcast support to the rhythmbox media player.
It was just a bit frustrating not even getting an acknowledgment of any kind. cheers. |

this is not an official response but it's most likely because the devid would then be easily exposed in the rhythmbox source code which is why i doubt you'll get access (but i may be wrong though i doubt it).
