my ipod enjoys being ironic

so i'm back again (for those who remember me)
and i've found something odd about my ipod. lately it has developed quite the sense of irony in the songs it will play when i start it up

example the first: i was coming back home from vising my girlfriend and i got on the greyhound bus, the driver tells me and hte dozen or so other ppl trying to get on "all the seats are full, but if you're will to stand in the aisle for the trip you can get on
so first, let me say how illegal and dangerous i think this is
but then, i get on, i turn on my ipod and what song comes on? "enough space" by the foo fighters
i think i may have scared a few ppl when i started laughing

example the second: and let me begin with this disclaimer: i felt awful about this one
so i though i had cheated on my girlfriend a little while ago (not all the way cheating, mind you), i woke up one day a month or so ago after an amazing party where i was far too drunk for my own good
i say i thought i had cheated on my girlfriend b/c i wasn't sure if making out w/ some girl i know actually happened or if it was a dream (it turns out it was a dream, so that was a huge load off my mind)
so anyway, i go out to run some errands, turn on my ipod and what song is playing? "torn apart" by stabbing westward (which, as far as i can tell is about a guy lamenting having lost his love due to a stupid mistake)

and thus ends my rambling

Well, I still don't have an iPod (Not for long, I hope) but I got some personality problems with Winamp. It has the skill to, in some days, play ALL the musics that I'm not in the mood to listen to. Yeah, sometimes my Winamp can be such a bitch !

Why is it illegal and dangerous to stand in the aisle for the bus trip? Don't they have rails at the top/handles to hold on to hanging down/at least seats with something to hold on to?
Most buses, at least around here, are certified to take a certain amount of people sitting, and a certain amount standing as well.
Not to mention that on our old school bus we used to sometimes have all the seats and aisle packed with people and there still wasn't really enough room, but that definitely was illegal/dangerous.

I bought my ipod mini about 3 weeks ago. I absolutely love it. It goes everywhere with me. (well, I guess not as it's home right now), but it's just amazing what that little guy can do

All should have one.

I'm not going to buy HDD based mp3 players till OGG gets more market use.

Cognition - Grayhound is a coach bus company designed similar to a school bus in the sense that there are no handles to hold on to. The buses you are thinking of are for public transit. It's dangerous beucause should the drive need to slam the breaks, you go flying.

Huehue - welcome back! Yes that is quite ironic. Now what you say if it started rusting?

"Welcome to the Island of people who know too much."..."Did you really think balloons would stop him?!"
See what I'm listening too.

Well, i'd be VERY even with happy with a iHP-140... But I'd never buy an ipod, not even now when it has an own linux distribution. It's stylish as hell, but the irivers have longer battery life and better sound quality.

Because in an accident people can't hold on well using their hands.

I'd rather be on a bus standing up than in a car behind the wheel with seat belt fastend. Bus accidents are rare because well, the drivers drive safe and cars avoid buses becaus guess who wins?
