Rep. James Traficant expelled, 420 to one.

Last night Traficant was expelled from the US House of Representatives, with 420 voting yes, and one voting no. Guess who voted no?

Gary Condit.

I personally think the fool had it coming. He was acting like a three year old in congress, threatening to slit people's tires and such.

eh, heh.

Oh now I understand!

Good, the guy seemed to not be worthy enough to have the seat anyway.

the Republicans have a nice shot at gaining an even greater majority in the House because of this. condit already knows he's not going to be on his party's ticket this Nov. he might as well have his fun right? atleast he's not killing more interns.

James Traficant scares me. How did such a crass boor get into the house? What were the people of his district on when they voted for him?
Or was the opposition really that bad?

I think when Condit realized it was going to be a straight vote down the line, he voted against it just so he could yell "It's 4:20 My homies!

Even with all this, I really don't think he's that bad. When he was police chief in Youngstown, he refused to forclose people's homes who were unemployed because of the shitty state of the youngstown steel industry.
He's well liked by the people around here. They somehow think he can win the next election by campaigning from a jail cell. I was listening to the radio last night and they were already talking about reelecting him.

eh, heh.

yes, and many femnazis supported condit even after his adulterous affair with his intern and avoiding questioning about her mysterious disappearance.
but why? he supported abortion. i guess morals and honesty is not important to some special interests groups.

there are many thick headed constituents who will support a long time career politician. but the anti's are often louder and i'm confident trafficant won't be on the ticket for re-election just like his buddy condit.

Hey, I'm not saying that that all of a sudden makes him an angel, he's just more of a blue collar-supporting person
