At first it looked good.... than.

Hi

Trying to get live streaming to work.
All three components (dnas, winanp player, source plugin) in the same windows 2003 box.
p4 2.6 - 1g ram - 10mb connection.

I can see everything appears to be working as it should.
I created a simple 3 song playlist. Named the playlist test.pls and placed it in C:/Program Files/SHOUTcast/content

I play test.pls and it goes well. the source communicates with the dnas.

when i go, in my local machine, to http://12.34.56.78:8000/content/test.pls i get the infamous "invalid resource" .

if i, however, try to get a single song from the content page, such as http://12.34.56.78:8000/content/scpromo.pls
it will download fine and play on my local winamp.

any help would be appreciated.

btw, i have the latest version of every component.

Hint: On Demand folder doesn't support polaylists, JUST MP3 files.

and Drewbar knows what is in this thread

Each Thursday a new show on Celtica Radio with Darkwave music.

Nope, it's not a radiostation just a non stop darkwave music stream

Thanks drewbar/spaceplay

but what i want is precisely live streaming. I don't care for on-demand. i pulled http://12.34.56.78:8000/content/scpromo.pls just for testing. scpromo beign a single mp3 file within ./content. i'm going crazy (literally) trying to get the darn thing to push live streaming.

your wisdom will be appreciated

So are you trying to do a Live stream or an On Demand Stream?

if it is Live, ignore the Content directory and use the SHOUTcast DSP.
