Categorized Playlists

Hey,

I just got a 4G iPod last weekend, and have been trying to figure out all the features ever since. One feature I have yet to find, but would love to have is the ability to view the contents of a playlist in a categorized manner.

Winamp's ML does this great with it's "artist/album view". How come the iPod can't do the same thing? When you navigate into to a playlist, it should give you the same Artists|Albums|Songs|Genres|... viewing options that you get from the top-level music menu.

Is there a way to do this that I don't know about? Am I really the only person who wants this?

Z.S.

Are you talking about in the ipod itself or in ml_ipod?

If you are talking about in ml_ipod, just select "iPod" under "Devices" and click the "Config" button. Go to "General". Under "Library view options", select "Artist/Album/Track view"

In the ipod itself I don't think you can view it any other way.

I'm talking about the iPod itself. ml_ipod works 100% in this regard, it's the actual iPod that's lacking. Just thought one of you guys might know of a work-around.
