Could anyone give me a light into this question I have.
In the last 2 days I have notice an ip address that is there almost all the time, but when I check the origin of that ip address it says is in Russia.
The IP Addres is: 81.176.237.242
I checked and it says:
RUSSIAN FEDERATION MOSKVA MOSCOW.

I am always affraid with people using someone else's computer for illegal stuff.

Any advice anyone???? Please

so they have internet in Russia and are listening to a shoutcast stream.


if you don't trust it? than simply ban the IP adres or subnet.
But be carefull , it's rather easy to make it look like my IP adres is in China or Japan or anywhere on this earth.

you might ban just a listener who is enjoying the music you stream.

They will eventually go away by them selves. If I have something like that on there for a long time I usually just kick them to see if it reconnects. Most of them just go away after that because someone forgot they had it on and went away for a days or more.

i see this on my streaming server log ... like all day long...
it's a 1 second connect , perhaps seeking ports to hack into on the server ?
not sure , might have to ban them....
just started after i signed up for radiobee.com to help reach cell phone users
with our news broadcasts.

Same here connects every 30 minutes most be some kind of script ?????
This ip visits my stream for about 1 month now
I have igor's ip banned now

Same one hits me too, some kind of indexer that runs through the YP, there are about 5 or 6 now that run through my stream every 10 to 60 minutes.
