Load average problem
Hi all,
When i've got 25 shoutcast server on my server my load average increase. I don't know why i've got this problem. I'm on Debian Lenny. |

The load shouldn't be that high, but I suppose it depends on your processor.
I have 62 instances of sc_serv (maybe not all streaming currently) running on an 'Intel(R) Xeon(R) 3065 @ 2.33GHz' with 2GB RAM: top - 17:05:24 up 429 days, 6:58, 2 users, load average: 0.24, 0.62, 1.12 Cpu(s): 0.0%us, 0.2%sy, 0.0%ni, 99.8%id, 0.0%wa, 0.0%hi, 0.0%si, 0.0%st It seems quite happy |
