    Were the forums down yesterday?

I tried logging in yesterday, but the forums pages wouldn't load. Winamp.com did load, but if you clicked the forums tab, no load. Also if I clicked on links in my email from subscribed threads, the pages didn't load, regardless of browser. Odd. First time I've seen that in years.

have been wondering for years when that would happen.
Still don't understand why we are still here.

if it was my server, i would have pulled the plug years ago.

Nutso theory: Justin Frankel secretly hosts the Winamp Forums for some inscrutable reason.

It runs on llama power. Llamas are on conveyors and they power the server. As long as people use Winamp, llamas get whipped. So they run.

Kind of like hamsters but more powerful.

So I guess Justin still feeds Mike. But I guess that'd not be Mike 1.x, 2.x, 3.x or 5.x.
But then, I don't know how long llamas live.

Llamas llive to be fifteen to twenty years, so Mike has probably gone to the great llea in the sky by now. Llament not for he surely was lloved in his llong llife.

I can't imagine it would cost much to keep these boards running. The amount of archived data might be a bit high but I would guess that the traffic is very low.
