view and playlist management

Hello.

I got a lot of playlists.
1) Can I add an folder with several playlists at once? (to winamp 5...)
2) Can I make subfolders in the playlist collumn?

Views are cool )
3) How can I save a view at an other place ? (like in a new file on an other harddisc or so)

To add or remove a song
4) Can I drag and dropp songs from one playlists to an other?
5) Can I see what is in a playlist witout open it?

To write a comment
6) Why is it that when I write a comment it is not always seen at the file itselfe (espacally when ripped with iTunes )

Thank U Winamp. U are soooo cooooool

How is he/she a noob?, considering his/her registration date is early 2004 and yours is March 2005.

Try not to get ahead of yourself, noob.

oh well anyway i think i can answer your "1) Can I add an folder with several playlists at once? (to winamp 5...)" question..

if you say have 8 playlists just load them all in winamp and then save it as one huge list..

[edit] copy all of them and then paste into winamp..[/edit]

Not by using ADD->DIR you can't, nor can you drag a folder with playlists onto winamp. The only thing you can do is drag the .m3u (playlist) files into the playlist window, and the files linked to in each playlist should appear in your new playlist.

Nope.

Ok, have fixed your post count (1015 plus the 13 posts since). Remember this next time you decide to take the piss out of someone who asks a legitimate question...

Thanks for imformations.

Views are cool )
3) How can I save a view at an other place ? (like in a new file on an other harddisc or so)

OK.
Now, all views are below an other view. That makes a verry long list (if you have a lot of views).

I like to put them in alphabetlikel folders A-Z(Sorry my moterthong is German)

as well do i like to share these views with ohters. or put them later on winamp 7...
therefor you shold save them seperatly like playlists.

Now the question: 3) How can I save a view at an other place? away from the programm to the data.

And the last one with the comment: I write in the ID2 tag "10" to Comment if i like the song and "Summer" to Genre if it is an summer song.

If I now open a folder like ABBA and look for songs i like with comment 10 I only have to klick on the comment collum and see all 10's

But it is not working with new ripped mp3's from Itunes or Creative. you only can see the comment if you only use the ID1 tag, but then you can not use the view (like all sommer 10 songs) because you can not edidt the genre from ID1 Tags...

question: How can i make that the comment from ID2 tag is shown with the file? (outside from winamp)

Answer to 4) If you have Studio (Winamp3) you can move songs from one playlist to an other.

PS. is it possibel to get technikel suport or put a link on an other platform for more help?

you would need to transfer the query to a text pad. right click view, and edit view. just copy/paste that query line to a txt file. there is no easy way to export them.

are they mp3 or m4a files that you ripped? I dont know why the comment field isnt being saved.

sadly you cant do this in winamp 5 which is a continuation of winamp 2...separate from winamp3. if you know vbscript, theres a possibility you could use activewinamp...but i dont know for sure

dont understand what you mean by that... winamp does not work for other Operating systems. what do you mean by platform?
