Do you have any other third party plug-ins? It is starting to look like a conflict another plug-in.

There is a standalone version of the One For Nunz plug-in lister. The download is available in the link from the previous reply.

The only other 3rd party plugin I use is: http://www.myplugins*******msn-messenger-plugin.php

Before the new versions of Lyrics plugin and Winamp everything worked fine. :/

Try temporarily disabling the Windows Live Messenger Plug-in by moving the plug-in file (gen_msn.dll) to a different folder, while Winamp is not running. Start Winamp and see of the lyrics plug-in Works.

Third party plug-ins do not receive tech support at Winamp Forums. So, you may want to try contacting the developer of the lyrics plug-in for additional support.

Didn't work.
Btw: Now I get a black background without any text in the Lyrics plugin window.

Sazzel: contact the plug-in author -> lyricsplugin as really any issues aren't going to be able to be resolved by anyone else.

He got no 'contact info' tab. Maybe only mods can write to him?

Tried Mini lyrics but it missed some lyrics I found with Lyrics plugin. Still thx for the help.

Lyrics plugin works now fine for me.
The solution for my problem is: I have to disable the lyrics plugin window in the context menu (using right click on winamp player) every time I start winamp --> the lyrics plugin window for the songtext disappears. Then I click on the lyrics plugin in the context menu again --> the lyrics plugin window reappears but now with lyrics.

This is such a frustrating issue for me, that I posted in the wishlist forum as well.
I listen to music in all languages and makes. A fan made remix or indie track in a foreign language is impossible to find on search sites and I do not understand why lyric support isn't a standard winamp feature.
I have 7 versions of it and each time a new one is released, all the editing I did for hundreds of files is for nothing because plug-ins aren't compatible with the next version.

Hi Obaba,

I understand your frustration.

Winamp already has access to the Lyrics3 tags, but only makes use of the extended field info.
Up to the devs whether they choose to utilise the rest of the standard or not.

There is a very useful and fully featured Lyric3 plugin that offered reading, editing and scheduled images(slideshows) for Winamp, but it fails since Winamp went multi user. http://www.hiker.org.il/lyrics.htm
The only way it can be revived is by reverting to single user mode via 'paths.ini', but this may well bring other problems.
The fix is trivial, the plugin just needs to look for 'Winamp.m3u' in it's new location(%APPDATA%).
I've tried to contact the author without sucess, shame really as this was an excellent feature.

Here's a new lyricsplugin bug, probably related to the one i posted before where the menu code makes other entries migrate down.

New bug I noticed is that lyricsplugin blocks proper custom menu updating. This is most evident when you change Skins (start Winamp with Modern then switch to Bento for example) and then look at the Options menu. The Winamp Modern submenu will still be displayed.

Private message sent to lyricsplugin.

lyricsmeaning

Hi

My online service "LyricsMeaning" was down for a while now because of server issues, but i sorted everything out now, and should be working faster and better than ever.

instructions to install
http://www.winamp.com/online-service...meaning/221999

I will put the google translate function back as soon as I have time.

Regards

Clear browser cache and redownload is my first recommendation. Also make sure you're using the latest version of Windows Installer (should be there if you're current with Windows Update). I just downloaded it again and it worked fine for me.

lyricsplugin just informed me he did some silent updates a few days after it was first released that might fix my menu issues. If anyone else is still experiencing odd issues and downloaded during the first day or two I recommend you to uninstall, redownload, reinstall, and see if the issues are still present.

... My menu ones still are

Sorry, my English is not so good. I have the same problem with the plug-in. I lost more than 400 songtext. I use now: Lyrik 1.3.1 That is a good program. You can save the text files on internet and on your cumputer. If you are off-line you can also read the text of the songs, if you have saved it on your computer. ANTON, Holland

suspicious?

okay guys, its 2016 now, long term lyrics-plugin user, never had a problem - its awesome. just tried evil lyrics, looks good, but not fully convinced yet

I found that the lyrics-plugin is using a little bit of bandwidth constantly (like 5-20kb/s) with peaks when lyrics are getting loaded.
Can someone confirm that?
I don't know - is it really necessary to hold a connection when no new lyrics are being loaded?

maybe someone has an idea
