Reinstall the latest winamp and make sure you checked the right boxes to enable video support.

Is this happening with all streams or certain streams or particular video files that you are playing ?

You also need to make sure that you are not using the lite version of winamp.

You need to install either the Bundle or Full version of Winamp.

you think

you don't know

installing full over the current version will not negatively affect it therefore it is your best course of action

You sound like you haven't installed the Full version.

It's too simple to not work at all. Make REALLY sure that you checked the boxes on the FULL INSTALL to enable NSV support.

Uninstall from the control panel. Delete the Winamp folder. Then re-install and look carefully to make sure that you enabled the video support. If there is something wacky, deleting the folder after uninstalling might help.

Once in a long while, when uninstalling/installing some app that has problems, find I need to reboot machine in safe mode (F8) two or three times in a row -- just get to the login screen, then reboot again. Takes whatever the machine is holding in memory out of the way.

A long shot, but you might give it a try.

I'm having the same problem. I've downloaded the latest Full Version of Winamp. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, stood on my head while reciting the alphabet backwards...nothing! I've scoured the internet looking for a solution and I've tried everything I could find. Still no freakin video. Need help badly.

I have found the solution!

I had this same problem and got really tired of not being able to watch a certain stream, so i did a bit of digging and found out what needed to be done. Alright guys, first thing you need to do is goto - X X X X X X - When the page has loaded, click the second link on the page, and let it download. Once it has downloaded, run it and go through the setup. You do not need to change ANY of the settings just keep clicking next and it will install. Restart your computer, run winamp, and try opening the file that you have been trying to get to work. It should now have fully working video!
