burning cds

Alright im having a little problem with burning my cds. Does Winamp convert these mp3 files that im burning to the cd into WAV files? im running a 4 gig hard drive as my c drive and a 40 gig as d. ill have close to a gig left on the 4 gig untill i burn then the computer starts reporting that the c drive is low on memory. i cannot find where these files are. PLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEASE help before i reformat my drive!

Winamp version? Windows OS?

The temporary WAV files are created in the default system Temp dir,
but should be automatically deleted once the burning process is complete.

im using version 5.03 with windows xp pro. where could i find the default temp folder that it could be in? can i make it goto another drive?
