Mapping through winamp 5

Hi...
Is there any way or a plugin out there that maps system audio through winamp. That helps you to apply winamp dsp effects and equalizers too?
Thank you in advance

Try Jasper's LineIn plugin.

After installing, set up Windows volume control (double-click speaker icon in systray) as follows:
menu Options > Properties > select Recording > OK > select Line In
menu Options > Properties > select Playback > OK > mute Line In
(the last step is to prevent echos in the output: otherwise Windows AND Winamp will output the Line In)
[edit] See below! [/edit]

In the URL box in Winamp (right-click Open button > Open URL (Ctrl+L)), type line://

Now you can use DSP, eq and the volume control in Winamp.
You will notice there's a considerable delay in the output of the Line In. Take a look here for more info on that.

Sorry, I misread your post...
Instead of selecting Line In in Windows volume control, you need to select System Out / Wave Out / Wave / Stereo Mix / whatever it's called in your system.
Do not do that, it'll hurt your soundcard.

On second thought, I doubt this is possible, since when you then mute the Wave Out in Windows volume control (to prevent echos), you will ALSO mute Winamp output.
Maybe it'd be possible with two soundcards, dunno...

If you're bored go here or, if the boredom is more serious, here.

I hope so
Do read my edits above btw...

It's possible to output Line In through Winamp (with DSP, etc. applied) but I don't think it's possible to route ALL system audio through Winamp.

You can, but it's tricky

If you use a SBlive card, there are the KX audio drivers. You could map all your wave out to your line in with that, then use a line in plugin or simply open linein://

Then you''d have to map your wave out as normal I think.
