winamp command message to repeat the track being played

I am writing a c# application to control winamp from an external application and I use the SendMessage function to control the various commands of winamp.

I know there is the command
Toggle repeat 40022
to repeat the playlist.

But i have not found any command to repeat the track being played.

Can someone help me?

Thanks

Try maybe setting it up that at the end of the track it goes back using 40044 or if that goes to the previous track, do 40044 followed by 40048

In order to send a command for the previous track when the current song finishes, I would have to constantly poll winamp to know the position of the file.

I could use a timer and set the timer to repeat, but I believe that it is not an elegant way of coding. Moreover, in the winamp sdk, it says that the commands for getting the time in milliseconds is only approximate.

Moreover, the SDK must contain the code that allows for repeating the song.

I am trying to implement this method that you suggested but I hope that there is a more elegant way of solving this problem.

Also, I would like to know how the commands used for controlling winamp are also able to control music player "Media Monkey"?

Thanks

1. To turn on "repeat track" mode, turn on repeat and manual playlist advance.
2. Media Monkey pretends to be Winamp and responds to some of its messages. That's all.

Thanks a lot.

Your info on Manual Playlist Advance solved my problem.

But I wanted to inform everyone that I found the commands for manual playlist advance in the new 5.04 sdk and not in the 5.02 sdk that is available for download.

If version 5.04 sdk has been released, why isn't it officially available?

But anyway, my problem is solved so thanks!!!

You can check out my project at sourceforge at:

Try it out and I would appreciate all reports of bugs, errors and additional features you would like.

Thanks
