We are bug testing the new submission system, the queue had about 160 or so submissions in it, maybe more as I didn't see the initial queue until after someone, Wally I think, had gone through and rejected a load of crap.
Guess I can't keep no secrets, eh?

Featured skins have also resumed, new batch of 4 was put up earlier this week. They'll be up for 2 weeks, and than I'll change 2 and get back on a regular schedule.

BTW, you left one skin in the queueu.

That's certainly interesting.

From memory, Maniac Mansion was actually included in Day Of the Tentacle. I think if you went into the basement somewhere in one of the rooms in DOTT, you could log into a computer and use it to play Maniac Mansion. I had Maniac Mansion on C64 in the eighties. I loved it, though I don't remember getting very far.

Don't ask me why I chose this to be the reason for which I resurface my head after a two year break.

I haven't posted for something like 2 years, and yet my average is still 1.92 posts per day. Man, I must have gone pretty crazy on the posting in 2003.

I'm liking the way you've incorporated the vis and the numbers into the scene, Luigi.

Hah. With all the "reunion" threads going on, I was wondering if you'd show up. Now we just need Xenosomething to come back :P

I wasn't very far in the game at the point when the question was asked, but I did come across the included Maniac Mansion. It's interesting, but I stand by my assertion that it hasn't aged nearly as gracefully as DotT has.

And thanks. I was pretty pleased with how the elements of the skin blend together.

No, you're right. DOTT was from the era when games looked a bit blocky, but Maniac Mansion was from the era when games looked atrocious.
