You should just be able to double-click on the iso file and will adeptec will ask you to burn it. That's what I do. Don't make a data cd with the iso file in it. That's probably what your doing. I haven't used it in a while, but if double clicking it doesn't work, try the file menu. Something under there should be labeled "Burn A CD from Image". Click that, and select the iso file, and burn the CD.

If it is formatted, I don't think it will work unless it is a cd-rw. I would probably use a blank one to be on the safe side.

ISOBUSTER

Hey dude, you need ISOBUSTER.... This program extracts all files from an ISO file and puts them into a folder for you.... Which you then can burn directly to the CD...

You can use Isobuster, but generally, it is easier to directly burn the iso to the cd. Plus, if the original cd has boot information on it, that is lost when you use isobuster. All information on the original cd is still there when you directly burn the iso.

I find that Fireburner is incredibly good for burning ISOs and BINs, it's a very simple program and is only 500k with 2 files

ISO-burner is a great tool to use to burn ISOs. It is extremely easy to use and never failed me before. Moreover, it is free so you can give it a try at once

Seems we're getting the best and worst these days - the worst just being the ipod shit, and the best being those who really put some true effort into their spam, finding just the right place and just the right time - you see, a three and a half year bump would be rushing it, the thread needs to mature properly before the spam opens.
