Charset split - into 3 different clocks / counters
Right now Under the
Options > Preferences > Skins > Modern Skins > Font Rendering > Font > Font Mapper > TrueType replacement for Winamp Charset Bitmap Fonts > Replace with one can change the appearance of the time that is shown under the playlist. But unfortunately that also changes the appearance [in the exact same way] of how the time is shown in the Songticker when it is in form in Titlebar; and also when it is in that more classical form [sized between Titlebar and window being maximized] Clock [counter] in all of these three places have different capabilities and serve different needs. So why does one option adjust them all, messing more or less 2/3 of them after setting a proper view in one of them? For me, that is simply illogical There should be three settings for three places. After all, fonts in Playlist and in Songticker are changed independently of each other. So why does those counters [clocks] are connected to each other? |

In a not so advanced version [without making 3 full separate entries], a simple individual change of size for all of those three clocks in most cases [fonts] would do the trick

That setting is actually skin-dependant, so it could be different on each skin.
The way you are setting it up is not the best approach, though for what you may need the alternative may not be that much better.. Go to: Options > Preferences > Skins > Modern Skins > Font Rendering > Font > Font Mapper > USE SKIN FONT MAPPER > CONFIGURE SKIN FONT MAPPING. On the new window, the first options you'll see are skin-specific. Look at the screenshots attached, you'll notice: 1. Winamp modern allows to change independently most fonts (pointed out in red). 2. It isn't really all that good for BIGGER FONTS, the container box chops the fonts when it goes too big.. (this is related to how the skin is done, so there is little to do about it..) That said, you can test it with other skins, maybe you'll come to something close to what you need, good luck. |
