Incomplete Track Ripping

Hi,

I'm new to this forum but am using Winamp v5.56 to rip MP4s for my Ipod. I've never used ITunes, so I have no comparison, but I regularly get this problem that tracks are cut off part of the way through. In the most recent example, there is a slight pause in the music and the rip has stopped at this point.

Has anyone else experienced this problem at all? I'm wondering if it is a hardware or software problem as my laptop is getting a bit long in the tooth.

I'm using the MP4/aacplus (HE-AAC) at 64kb/s option.

Any thoughts would be welcome as it seems to know how to target my favourite track on each album?
