SHOUTcast Server v2.6.0.748 (no ads)

Hi,

I am using the latest version. Mark the requests and supposedly, the fill rate of these requests, but I do not see in the graphics that the advertising is being counted.

Is this happening to someone else?

Ads are currently not working if you're using the latest version this has been reported and we are all still awaiting a response from Shoutcast.

In the meantime it would probably be best to go back to 2.5 with your old authhash.

(Until it's updated, it might still say 748 in the RMO, but it's 749)

Fixes fixed/flex ad break with metadata method.

Thanks for the Update. I can see that the DNAS is now downloading ads.

I can also see that something on the RMO side has been updated? It is asking me to upgrade to premium again.

Ads work for me on build 749 most of the time. In addition you get pre-roll ads if you want them or not ;-)

Funktioniert die Werbung bei Dir immer? Es wird in den Logs wohl angezeigt, dass Leute in die Werbung verschoben werden, aber ich will auch Werbung hören.

Does the advertising always work for you? It probably appears in the logs that people are moved into advertising, but I also want to hear advertisements.

Ja bin ich. Also an einzigen Zeiten des Tages kriege ich hauptsächlich Füller vom Shoutcast Adserver oder höre tatsächlich nur mein Platzhaltergedudel. Aber sonst diverse Autohäuser aus der Region, Amazon, Netto, Aldi. Es sieht aber so aus als müsse man mindestens 5 Minuten verbunden sein bis der Trigger greift.

Yes I am :-). There are times of the day where I get quite a lot of fillers from the Shoutcast Adserver or I hear my own placeholder music. However there are ads from car dealers in my region, Amazon and so on. I've got the feeling that you have to stay about 5 minutes connected until the trigger works for you.

You have to switch on monetization inside the radiomanager. I didn't get any further experience expect that with the DNAS 2.6 ads didn't work at first and now I have pre-roll ads in addition.

The only thing that bugs me a bit from this: https://help.shoutcast.com/hc/en-us/...do-I-get-paid-

Is that if you don't reach the balance of 25EUR till the end of the year the amount will be lost.

At the moment I can read inside the DNAS log that "no useful data" has been returned from the ads, which are being downloaded from the ad server. These ads are then removed.

My stream is hardly playing any ads at the moment mainly only fillers, PSAs or my own placeholder music.

Opened a support case with Shoutcast some days ago. Waiting for a response at the moment.
