ogg player bug -- end of song gets 15% louder
Guys,
I've searched the forums and don't think this has been posted already. WinAmp3 (downloaded today) appears to have a bug with ogg files and the EQ enabled. I've ripped a CD using EAC and coverted the WAV to ogg using oggenc.exe (from Vorbis v. 1.0) using the flags: -q 6,3 %s %d WinAmp3 plays songs fine until the last 5 seconds then the volume increases noticably. WinAmp2 (downloaded today) plays the same file fine, and so does the WAV and the original CD. This only happens when the EQ is enabled -- I usually keep the EQ in the standard U shape with elevated highs and lows. BTW, the ogg files play fine in other players I tried. System: Windows XP Athlon 1900XP+ Creative Sound Blaster PCI Driver: es1371mp.sys (micr$oft) Driver Version: 5.01.2501.0000 (English) Thanks! Byron |
