MMSYSTEM002 error!! HELP

I keep getting this error even after I try to play a song. I've uninstalled and downloaded it over and over!! PLEASE HELP!!! the error says that " a device ID has been used that is out of range for your systme"..HELP!! thanx in advance

i was getting that error I rebooted and now my sound works
