So you want to be a millionaire

How much money, at the very least, would you need to pay off all your debt?
Not being greedy, what would it take?

Being that I no longer use credit cards, I'm only about 3 grand in the hole.

Never used a credit card in my life.
I do owe the bank some money but I'm not going to put that info on a public board

Only debts I have are my house and car. Though I have credit cards, I absolutely refuse to use them, aside from AmEx, unless I wind up in a bind (such as a car accident I was in about a year ago that cost me 5k usd --- it's now paid off).

The only reason why I use AmEx is because it is not a credit card really. Balance to be paid in full every month; no ifs ands or buts about it. Oh who the piss am I kidding; I use it for the points, which are unbeatable.

Minimum: $5k.
Ideally: $20k.

No credit cards for me, though my debit card is a Visa, so it can "act" like one.

Roughly a grand and a half between an unpaid credit card bill from 2008 and an unpaid Verizon bill from 2009.

This is a sig of some nature.

Hello everyone,
if I would be a millionaire, then I would live in a green environment now with many place and not at a very loud street with many air polution and less place at home. And I would have a very nice life without pain and sorrow...
But my life isn't nice now, I have so much pain and sorrow. Although I have to live with it all, July 22th 2010 was that day for me, which had changed my life forever and had given me many new hope. And I will never forget my own historic day anymore...
Maybe I will win money one day or not...
Greetings from Sabine Klare Aka Sternenmaschinebine

Considering we have a mortgage on a home that needs "a bit of work", two car loans, a credit card, and a tween daughter... AU$200,000 would be the ticket. We'd be debt free and still have some left over for a nice holiday

No debts, no credit cards. Got into $1500 worth of trouble with cards back in college, haven't messed with them since.

I've got a credit card, but I treat it like a debit card, and I don't use it unless I've got the money in one account or another to pay it off when I get the bill in (Short of any multi-grand emergency expenditures that I have yet to encounter)...I've only just received it the beginning of the year so I'm essentially building up credit right now...

Same sort of mindset that's holding me back from continuing college, where I could pay JCTC community college tuition, but without proper financial aid I'm not digging myself into a years-long hole taking out loans just to attend UofL...

No debt other than student loans, but those are pretty massive (a couple years ago they peaked at six figures in US dollars, but are lower now at about $80K). My wife and I will be paying on those for a long time. We do use a credit card to buy just about everything, but it auto-pays in full each month. The student loans auto-pay too, so luckily our credit is very good.

Don't forget to live before you die.
