Winamp Networking Bug

If i'm doing a file transfer over FTP. I get full 100Mbps transfer speed, if i'm playing a file in winamp, even if i'm not using XM radio or shoutcast, such as i'm playing a locally stored file, my networking transfer speed is cut in half. From 11MB/s to 5.5MB/s, exactly.

Winamp 5.35
Vista Business x64
Intel Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz
4GB DDR2 800
1.5TB RAID 5
Disk activity hovers at 20%
Network utilization hovers at 100% or 45%

The effect is immediate and is rather strange, the other machine is doing nothing but the transfer.

I've discovered the issue, the problem isn't with winamp itself. But with the multimedia class scheduler service in vista. When the scheduler is active, vista throttles network traffic to provide a "glitch free" experience.
