Webpage Stats - Still Not Working

Ok. Before everyone jumps on me, I have searched here, the web, and a slew of other places, to no avail.

Here is what I am trying (and I did it before about 3 years ago, so that is what is frustrating me).

I have a Windows2000 Server as my "media server". It houses the mp3, winamp, and shoutcast. My webserver is right next to it on a Windows NT 4.0 server.

The streaming works fine. Great sound, song tags, ect...

The problem is, I can not find any of the HTML or cgi files. All the forums talk about the played.html and admin access via the web. I have none of these files anywhere.

I have read this forum now for 3 hours trying to figure it out.

All I want is for users to go to my web page (on an IIS server) and get the play list and history page...

I would love to get any help (and please do not post the "look at this thread" message that I have seen a million times)

Dan

The html and cgi files are part of the compiled SHOUTcast DNAS binary.

Everything you want to display can be grabbed from the DNASs XML statistics, massaged, and output to your liking.

Sorry. Add one more.

Check out the Sticky post titled...
SHOUTcast: Important Info & Answers to FAQs. READ ME!

Scroll down a bit and look for the section titled...
General SHOUTcast Information -> SHOUTcast ToolBox (All sorts of nifty add-ons for SHOUTcast)

1. The PHP based XML parser is a complete solution and comes ready for you to customize.

2. The Javascript parser (actually ASP) is another complete solution and comes ready for you to customize.
Note: Apparently this link isn't working anymore.
Try this thread for other ASP options.

Also, for an html implementation, check out:
KXRM's RadioToolbox
Oddsock's Do Something DSP plugin

Hello,

Sorry but look at :
www.casterclub.com
www.radiotoolbox.com

You should be able to find something that interest you and if not, just think to extrat your data from the XML statistics file stored on the broadcasting computer and create a little script to upload the file on your web site. Why not ? :P

Ok...So I am understanding what you are saying but I still am lost.

1. Should the html files/cgi file "unpack" when I run the exe setup? Because they did not at all if that is the case.

2. I downloaded radio toolbox, and it works great for the logging, but I do not have php server available to do the web stats

I think I am jsut confuising myself more and more as I go on
