Normaliz.dll file error

Hello! I have a problem with normaliz.dll file. When I try to run setup, it requires this file. But when I try to add it to system32 folder, it still says there's a problem with it.
What I am doing wrong?
I'm using windows xp (32 bit).

UPDATE: so, I thought that Normaliz doesn't work because it was downloaded online. But when I tried to add normaliz.dll from another computer to System32 folder, allowed for the machine to use it and it still says "the application or DLL is not valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette". That's annoying
