Ok, ok, I dragged my feet into watching this show, jaz kept bugging me.

It was an awesome show

And darn you Fox for screwing it up.

And I must say the episode where "Captain Mal" runs around bucked nekkid is great.

I'm probably one of few with this opinion, but I saw te movie first, and I liked it quite a bit more than anything I've seen of the show so far.
I probably just haven't seen the show enough; I'm sure if I watched it from the beginning I'd "get it" more than I get from having watched a few random episodes.

You definitly have to see the show from the beginning and in order as later episodes won't make much sense.

I haven't caught the movie, so I'll have to reserve judgement.

I finally started watching Firefly last night. Not too bad a show. I'm already sold to buying the DVD set when I get paid next week. $20 at Target.

I know I'm a few years late for the show.

I only caught the last hour when Scifi played the movie (I forgot it was on

). It was a good show. I was sad when it got canceled.

I like Farscape better though

Ok... maybe a dumb question but what was first the movie or the series (all one year of it). I bought the series at Sams Club (heck it was cheap) and I really enjoyed it! I haven't seen the movie yet....

First came the series, a very humorous and great series, which sadly hasn't enough commercial success, so it was discontinued.

Only one season, shame on you Fox!

The movie plays after the series, watching the film first and then the series would be a bad idea, heh.
