SC_SERV worked an hour ago, can't start it -Error opening port 8000

HELP!!! PRODUCTION SERVER PROBLEM!!!
Ubuntu 12.04.2 server

Had everything set up and running solidly for a week; made NO CHANGES but now I can't get SC_SERV to run!!!!!

The stream went down an hour ago, I got on SSH and saw that SC_SERV wasn't running; tried to start it and got
Error opening port 8000 because Could not bind to :8000 because Address already in use
...and SC_SERV stopped trying to run.

REBOOTED THE SERVER. Verified no other instance of SC_Serv is running. Still getting "Error opening port 8000 because..."

Here's my SC_SERV.CONF

AY YI YI!!!! Figured it out!

Checked what process was using Port 8000 by
netstat -tlnp | grep 8000

and found an instance of ICECAST running!

I never installed ICECAST!

However I did try AIRTIME but I didn't like it and uninstalled it! Icecast - I think - got installed along with Airtime, but how the hell did it start up? AIRTIME has been uninstalled, but it left Icecast behind! Now I've got to find it and delete the files manually!!! ARGGGG!!!)

I would see if you could uninstall it with apt-get. Would need to find the name of it installed first by [grep]ing it from the list of installed packages in apt-get and then run an apt-get uninstall of it.

It's been a while since I messed around on Ubuntu so I forgot most of the command-line switches for apt-get functions. Will have to use google to find them.

apt-get --purge remove icecast2 did the trick

There's possibly still some scraps lying about in various places, but at least the damned thing won't start up again.
