I don't really have any least favorite actors. Most of the famous actors aren't that bad; they've simply been in a few D-grade movies. Of course, porn is a different story.

Bob Sagat and Carrot Top are the absolute worst
Nicholas Cage (His idea of dramatic acting is whining) Pauly Shore (His stoner shtick was old after one movie) David Shwimmer (another whiny actor guy) Now is the time for all good Americans to come to the aid of their Country |

Any actor who feels the need to whisper their lines so quietly that nobody can hear them over the environmental music, just to sound dramatic or serious. Like the star of the 13th floor. Good story, good camerawork, good writing, but the damn whispering ruined it for me

My answer back to those who have mentioned people who are good: John Travolta: I think he's actually pretty good. Mike Myers: He's excellent. If you disagree, I'll send you to the lions pit. Julia Roberts: She's good. :shrugs: Arnold Schwarzenegger: He makes funny prank calls. (search for "Arnold prank call" on napter. funny shit.) =P I can't think of any actors I dislike right now. Mabey later. |

I wouldn't rank Nicolas Cage as a bad actor - admittedly, he has a relatively limited repertoire, but he's pulled off some superb roles - Bringing Out The Dead and Wild At Heart spring to mind immediately.
Similarly, the trick with Schwarzenegger is giving him parts that play to his strengths - the original Terminator, for example, ranks as one of my top five sci-fi films of all time. So, as for my nomination, I'd have to be particularly unimaginative and go with Keanu Reeves and Leonardo DiCaprio. Reeves' wooden acting can be painful to watch - The Matrix avoided this trap by not focussing on acting to any great extent - don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed this film, but it's predomoninantly about visuals over character. Speed also worked, but again the action was the main star. The only instance of successful Reeves acting is the delicious irony of his casting in Much Ado About Nothing - Brannagh's use of a two-dimensional, stiff actor to portray Shakespeare's two-dimensional, stiff villain. As for Leonardo DiCaprio, he's a drip. Don't even try to get me justify that in less subjective terms. And the thought of him with a part in Scorsese's Gangs Of New York terrifies me. Incidentally, DiCaprio initially wanted the role of Bateman in American Psycho... that doesn't even bear thinking about. Jack. "What kind of a two-bit operation are they running out of this treehouse, Cooper?" |

Actually Leo is not THAT bad... he gets cast in these roles now where he's this pretty boy attracting teenage girl tickets, but he has shown acting talent-
In "The Man in the Iron Mask" he was able to carry off 2 different roles and in possibly his best movie "Who's eating gibert grape" -he plays a person with down's syndrome- and very convincingly .... i just don't know exactly how to interpret the meaning of your best acting role playing as a retard though... ![]() Now is the time for all good Americans to come to the aid of their Country |

leonardo DeCrapio (oops) leonardo DeCrapio and leonardo DeCrapio Adam Sandler in happy gilmore and bulletproof was cool but most of his other movies sucked Keanu Reeves gets picked for movies well. Movies that he is in are actually well a few of his movies are very well made. eg The Matrix Brendan Fraiser is an awsome actor what the hell is wrong with you Bizznatch he's a funnyman Mike Myers has to be the worst actor of all time his movies shit me up the wall. ![]() anyway its just my opinion |

Julia Roberts is also pretty one dimensional... she can't really play strong characters very well (in Erin Brokovich, instead of being a strong, independant woman, she came across as the biggest, loudest, sluttiest bitch in America). Plus, she's too floppy to be really beautiful. Face it; image counts. |

Ok OK, here's an explanation
The Matrix: great movie, Keanu Reeves should never have acted in it. The Replacements: See Matrix everything else that had Reeves in it sucked, especially Sweet Novermber. Brendan Fraser: Lets see, Encino Man sucked, Monkeybone was cool but he sucked in it, Bedazzled sucked. Adam Sandler: good actor, should've stayed on SNL though. Roberts: good actress, BAD movies and to add to my list, EVERYONE who was casted in what is my least favorite movie of all time, let alone this year: Best In Show (shouldve beeen renamed to Worst in show) |

And Dustin Hoffman for The Rainman. And I'm not sure, but John Malkovich may have been nominated for Shine.

Like at the end of the sex scene, where at the end with no emotion or innotation (as usual) he says "Oh... baby... that... was... good" ... what a HACK that guy is! Although I did like best in show- you have to remember that the movie wasn't scripted- it was improvised. I think it was a actually pretty good film.
