SC server as windows service
I have set up my shoutcast server to run as a service, but what CMD command do I do to make it display the same 'verbose' tailing log like it does when started manually?
Thanks in advance for what is probably an easy question for someone good at windows stuff. Wow Machine Radio -- Where You Never Know What You'll Hear Next! code: |

For any [Service] in Windows or [Daemon] in Linux there is never a display window for the log. The DNAS logs are available only in the log files as configured in the configuration files.
If you're running the DNAS in linux you can use the "less" command and pass it the location of the log files. For Windows you'll need to either just open the entire log file in your favorite text editor or find a command line utility to "less" the log. |

Thanks for the response! I've installed the DNAS as a windows service, so I thought I'd read somewhere in a Windows CMD 'tips&tricks' type article that one could show a verbose, tailing log of any of Win's services with a magic command. I've spent more brain power learn more of linux's magic commands in terminal to remember window's commands.

BTW, glad to see you Thinktink! I've been using WACUP for the last few years, but I'm still using your livewire mixin religiously!
