Album art question

Is there a way to get Winamp to display a different album cover other than one that is embedded in the file that is currently playing? For instance, the embedded art may be from a Greatest Hits album for an artist but I want to change the art to the studio album the track originally appeared on. Is there a way to do that?

Not yet. Embedded covers have the top priority when Winamp decides what should be shown. You will need to remove the cover to show any others. I don't know if Winamp can do this, I have never embedded a cover.

Your best bet for now is trying MediaMonkey. Hopefully in the future, Winamp will have more advanced options with album art..

You can delete the embedded album art via the Artwork tab in the File Info Editor.
Then place %album%.jpg, or cover.jpg / folder.jpg in the containing folder.
