Shortest sentence with all letters!!!

Shortest sentence with all the letters .
English sentence of course.

Some might heard one in school but the shortest one is in this article.

You already know the longest name, the longest English word, the hairiest family and many other stuff. But this time around I want to share with you guys, the shortest English sentence ever using all the letters of the alphabet. There are 26 letters in the English alphabet. A complete English sentence must have a subject and predicate. You cannot have a complete sentence without them. Thus coming up with the shortest English sentence that uses all the letters of the alphabet is not an easy task. By the way, a sentence that contains all letters of the alphabet is called Pangram. Such sentences are also called holalphabetic sentences. Further to clear up things, the shortest complete sentence using all the English alphabet is not “the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” which is stated by WikiAnswers. The fact that it is not the shortest is because it is 35 letters whereas the shortest one is 31 letters only.

Jackdaws love my big sphinx of quartz

Next time you are talking to your english teacher make sure that you throw this one on him/her. A good one for class discussion.

JUST posted the article from the stumblerz site here.

When I read that sentence, it doesn't seem right at all. Shouldn't it say 'loves'? It sounds more natural that way. Maybe I'm wrong ...

to be honest, i wouldn't really consider that quite valid, it has a subject and all that bullshit you mentioned, but it still doesn't make sense, if someone said that to you without any prior warning, you'd wonder what the fuck was wrong with them and "jackdaws" isn't even a real word honestly, being a proper noun it's really just an imaginary name, also it's not even written right, as pointed out before, love should be loves.

if you want the shortest nonsensical pangram that uses proper nouns that's definetly it, but definetly not the shortest that makes sense and doesn't use made up words.

i'd be willing to bet your english teacher will point that out as well.

Now that you say it's a bird, the sentence sounds more correct.
