Crash on sending to portable device

I am having a problem. Purchased Pro recently, and I can't take tracks from the music library and move them (transcoding mp3 to mp3 with a lower bitrate for space reasons) to a portable (listed as USB drive E. Winamp starts the process (I get a 0% bext to E, then gives me a Windows fatal error (...cannot continue and needs to close). I have tried reinstalling, tried killing Roxio processes, and no luck. I love Winamp, and I think I will really like Pro, but not if I can't get the music out to my player!

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Robert

Same problem with my Zen 16gb. And it seems no official winamp tech support are addressing this problem.

Actually, I've just found one thing that did help, but has not fixed the overall problem. If you load up your player, and then go into preferences > portables > (name of player), then go to 'View' and make sure that only Artist and Album are selected for view. For some reason, I had album art selected, and it was what was causing the program to crash.

Now, I can look around my files, but I still cannot sync..
