Visualizations (AVS,MilkDrop) sometimes won't work

Sometimes AVS and MilkDrop won't work.

It doesn't matter, if I use classic or modern skins.

When I start the vis plug-in, the visualization window opens, but nothings happens.

Other visualizations work very well.

I have to delete the winamp.ini, then avs and milkdrop work again.

First I thought, this issue has to do with DrO's "Auto Video Fullscreen" plug-in, but I was wrong.

I made a clean install (no third party plug-in), same problem.

This bug is hard to reproduce, but I post in this forum, maybe someone has the same problem.

My System:

Winamp 5.05 (Full)
Windows XP SP2 (SP1 the same problem)
ATi Radeon 9800 Pro
Soundblaster Audigy 2 (no gen_nomad.dll in winamps plug-in folder)
Pentium 4 3,00GHz HT
1GB RAM
newest video, chipset and sound drivers
