Mixing video with visualizations

I have a question to ask... I want to be able to take visualizations in winamp and mix them with avi's in fullscreen mode.

I would like to run a dual head video card and allow a user to pick the songs and be able to switch or call up visualizations using the playlist screen. That I think I got figured out.

So far I see it pulls up another window... is there any way to tell all videos to stay full screen? Would there be any performance or directx issues conflicting with two full screens, or is this not possible?

I want it to look nice, and professional, as the video of the second head will go to a projector for parties. Otherwise I'd have to invest a lot more money in a hardware switcher to do what I want... Any help my way would be appreciated, I searched and there wasn't a real clear solution. So hear I am
