Always on Top problem

The winamp doesnt recongise the changes made to Links bar Attached to the top of my screen

System Specs
Intel Pentium D 2.66ghz
512mb ram
Realtek HD Audio
Winamp 5.551
Windows XP SP3 with fully updated

MOR
make a links bar via taskbar>toolbar>and i have added my favourite places in computer to the link bar and have attached it to top of my screen and made it as a "always on top". So recently i unchecked it("always on top"), and i started winamp as usual for full view and i then minimized it(winamp). As winamp is minimized i again checked the option of AOT of links bar. And after doing this i restored winamp but now the upper portion of winamp is under the links bar. this problem doesnt exist with vlc nor wmp nor any window
i am attaching my my plugin list and some images for ease of evaluation

Peace

Isn't that working as designed?

If you set a toolbar to be 'Always on top' then it should be on top of everything else.

What happens if you enable Winamp's 'Always on top' feature?
Does Winamp go on top of the toolbar then, or does the toolbar still stay on top?

Or have I misinterpreted your post?
(I wasn't certain if I fully understood it, heh).

but why isn't winamp recongising as other windows resize itself to fit between the space of toolbar and taskbar when maximized from a minimized state and if this is by design then it lacks certain flexibility as all other windows manage to resize

Hmm, I'm not sure. I guess not too many Winamp users use toolbars at the top of the desktop (I can't personally stand toolbars), because you're the first one to ever report such an issue.

The maximize/restore feature is a relatively new Winamp feature which was only implemented recently after the addition of the Bento SUI skin in v5.5. So at a guess, we didn't take toolbars at the top of the desktop into consideration.

Though to be honest, I'm not rightly sure. Anyone?

But as you see winamp lacks this functionality. so it would be better if you add my request . Since a user like me uses Toolbars too often so it would be very useful to make winamp automatically manage windows !!!!!....

thank you
