trap will be added to the EP bundle (have been cleaning up the preferences to bring them more into line with the rest of the winamp prefs especially since the winamp prefs have been cleaned up in the new beta)

-daz

p.s. i don't think we'll be shipping 1.05 of trap since i don't ever remember making that build will probably be a 2.07 (or even a 2.1) for the build being done

Yeah, feel free to blame me.

I'll fix this typo, damn, all I can think about is a girl, so most other things I make wrong.

Never mind, the version number is hard coded in the main script, I just added it to the translation to force them to add the number on the end of the description.

the language string:

LangString "PB01" ${LANG_ENGLISH} "Provides options to restore time position and much more. Provided by Darren Owen"

is still missing in your updated version, please make sure, that you've downloaded version 1.04a, you should clean your browser cache before you start downloading the file, maybe that was the reason.

polux: Thank you for your quick update.

Sorry for my stupid question, but what exactly is the difference between Spanish and Spanish International?

If there is really a difference between your and Polux file, I'll add you version to the installer too.

MertcanKaya1991:

There are 3 new strings, like you can see in my posting. My 1.04 example file had just 2 strings, because I forgot one string. I've fixed it 1.04a, which has 3 new strings.

Never mind, it seems, that your file is complete now, so don't worry and thanks.

Updated language file to 1.05.

Example v1.05

There are 2 new strings:

LangString "Sidecar" ${LANG_ENGLISH} "Playlist Sidecar"

LangString "PL03" ${LANG_ENGLISH} "Adds a Winamp3 style-like Playlist Sidecar to Winamp's Modern Skin"

I've also removed the credits from the section descriptions (stuff like "provided by..."), It would be cool, if you could updated your language files again.

Translators:

Please remove the English language strings from your language file, so I just have to replace your old file with the new file. Otherwise, I have to edit every language file and I need more time.

I'm sorry, but my description wasn't very good, but it's simple, e.g. take a look at the Spanish language file:

LangString "Complete" ${LANG_ENGLISH} "Complete"
LangString "Complete" ${LANG_SPANISH} "Completa"

I just need the Spanish language string, so simply delete:

LangString "Complete" ${LANG_ENGLISH} "Complete".

I hope you know, what I mean, if you've any questions, feel free to ask.

-Chris

I have to ask a question. I know i must ask it very long time ago but is it right if i translate the name of plug-in? Like, "Apple Lossless Playback" to "Apple Kayıpsız Yürütme" or "Timerestore & Autoplay" to "Zaman Yenileme ve Kendiliğinden Çalma".

edit: If it is right can you give me an alternative name for sidecar to translate to turkish. I can't translate it different than side-car.

MertcanKaya1991:

It's your decision, I think it's good to translate as much as possible, but there are some words, which are own names, like "Playlist", "Skin" or "Plugin".

Translate as much as possible.

If you're not able to find a tanslation for Sidecar, than simply use "Sidecar".

polux:

Thanks for your quick update

Cleiton:

Thank you, it's cool, that we have an new language file, much appreciated.

MertcanKaya1991: Thank you very much.

I've added the compile date to the installer, the text "build on" and "at" could be translatable too.

I just want to know, what you guys think about this.

If you like this idea, I could upload an updated example file, if you think it's not worth to translate this, just let me know.

Take a look at the 2 images, then you know what I'm talking about.

Hmm, I think this is a good idea. If we translating the installer, we translat it all

In my nsis installer I use this line to do it:

!define PROGRAM_NAME "Some program"

BrandingText "${PROGRAM_NAME} - $(BUILD_DATE)${__DATE__}$(BUILD_AT)${__TIME__}"

Langstrings, in language files:

;TimeStamp
LangString BUILD_DATE ${LANG_ENGLISH} "Built on "
LangString BUILD_DATE ${LANG_POLISH} "Utworzono: "

LangString BUILD_AT ${LANG_ENGLISH} "at "
LangString BUILD_AT ${LANG_POLISH} ", "

So, If you want you can paste above lines to the script.

Regards,
-Pawel

Thanks, but I'm using my branding text.

BrandingText "${PRODUCT_NAME} ${PRODUCT_VERSION} (${PRODUCT_SUB_VERSION}) $(build) ${MyTIMESTAMP}"

I could allow modifying the format of the date in the language files too, so on English US systems is would show YYYY/MM/DD for all other countries it would show DD/MM/YYYY, or whatever you guys prefer.

But to be honest, I'm not interested in fixing corrupted language files, if somebody makes an error. :P

Nah, I guess it should look like Winamp's installer, so the format will be hardcoded as YYYY/MM/DD.

BoyNG: Thanks so much.

Updated language file to v1.06.

There are 2 new strings:

LangString "Time" ${LANG_ENGLISH} "at"
LangString "Build" ${LANG_ENGLISH} "build on"

The date format is hardcoded, maybe it will be possible to change the format via a language file in a later version. We shall see.

And don't worry, this is the last language file update for 5.5.
