Streaming from Linux, Possible?

Hello,

Is it possible to stream from the linux source that has the DNAS ? Ive been reading around and people say that sc_trans is worth a look but has not bee supported and was a beta.

I'd rather stream from my VPS as I would like to turn off my PC every once in a while as it eats heaps of electricity

Streaming from your VPS would require you to reconfigure it onto a streaming station with something like AirTime and its integration with SHOUTCast (for proper autoDJ *and* guest DJ).

There are also several tutorials out there to get you up and running with sc_trans but as you pointed out, it's no longer maintained.

Hope it helps a bit.
