The ChainCast uninstall directions can be found here. I couldn’t find anything special for the surfernetwork thing.

woah

Yes, there is a legit CSRSS.EXE file
But this is found in C:\Windows\System32
and is the Microsoft Client Server Runtime Process.

The one in your startuplist was located at
C:\Windows\CSRSS.EXE
and this was the illegit IETray thing.

So, via My Computer/Windows Explorer, navigate to the C:\Windows folder
and make sure CSRSS.EXE is not present.

Leave the one in C:\Windows\System32 alone.

Let us know the outcome, and whether you got rid of Chaincast & SurferNetwork

btw, an easy way to access the Downloaded Program Files folder is:

Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Options
General tab -> Settings button -> View Objects

If it's not instantly obvious which two ActiveX controls are the Chaincast and SurferNetwork ones, right click on each icon and select Properties, until you find the two corresponding ones, then delete them.
