sync errors - syncing songs already loaded
Hi
New to the forum, not new to winamp. I did a search and found one similar topic with no answer, so I started a new topic. I am not really a power user, just like winamp for managing my music on PC and player. I use an 8GB sony walkman. What I was finding was that whenever I go to sync my player, let's say one new song, winamp wants to sync a bunch of songs that it thinks there are "xx songs which will be transferred to the device" AND there are "yy songs which are not in the local media library". I have dumped the contents of the player and reloaded - same thing. Recently, I had a hard drive crash and the hdd was replaced. I copied only the music from the player to the computer and it still returns a message like the above. Really, is it a big deal? No, but it does mean I have to be scrupulous about my sync'ing and having to sort through 80 songs that I don't want to re-sync to get to the ones that I do is kind of a pain. Is there any way to remedy this? Thanks |

Same exact problem.
Sansa Clip+ 8GB plus a 32GB microSD. I created a new topic for the same reason. Evidently the problem is not very wide spread. I'm using the latest version of WinAmp, latest firmware revision of the Clip+, Windows 7 x64 -Drew |
