SSL in new version (2.6)
Hello. I see that in the new free version, is available the feature of "Personal & Customisable SSL Certificate". But, how does it works? Any documentation about this feature and setup? Is possible to use an own certificate in this version? Thanks.

Hello again. I've followed this steps:
sslcertificatefile = path/to/your/file.crt sslcertificatekeyfile = path/to/your/file.key And now I'm able to load the status page in https. But trying to listen the audio, I can't... Any idea? Thanks. |

Yes, I tried, with same result... Anyway, if we have more than one instance, all the alternate ports will be 443?

if you run shoutcast with centova cast
then run this on console To enable shoutcast open ports lower as 1024 sudo setcap CAP_NET_BIND_SERVICE=+eip /usr/local/centovacast/shoutcast2/sc_serv |

Yes, I have done this already, and in the Shoutcast log I see that is using correctly the SSL:
2019-01-09 16:55:17 INFO [MAIN] SSL keys installed 2019-01-09 16:55:17 INFO [MICROSERVER] Listening for source and client connections on port 18555 2019-01-09 16:55:17 INFO [MICROSERVER] Listening for legacy source connections on port 18556 2019-01-09 16:55:17 INFO [MICROSERVER] Flash policy file server not enabled 2019-01-09 16:55:17 INFO [MICROSERVER] Listening for client connections on alternate port 443 I can load the status page over https, but the admin.cgi and also the audio stream, I get: 403 (Service Forbidden)... Thanks again. |

Has anyone managed to configure the service by https (with your own certificate? As in the previous version, to load the status page via https works fine, but the rest, error ... (The Personal & Customisable SSL Certificate of the free version)

9.90 € wasted. 200 hours trying to makes it work wasted too. no documentation. no tutorial. no support. |
