I'm the wrong person to ask about monetization, but afaik, the default 2min ad-replacement with Advert: metadata trigger method still works? Not sure about any of the options in the RMO which say "available soon" though. If those don't work then imo they should be greyed-out or removed......

The maintenance op affects SC4B, YP & API.

I'm seeing 'almost done' but those messages are nearly an hour old. Just looking for an update, or maybe an ETR?

hello -- i see now that the directory.shoutcast.com page now shows 85K sites as opposed to zero as it has read all day, but unfortunately i'm still getting a 404 on my own stream url. is the maint over? thanks

It's weird.... but with my "old" DNAS 2.5.5. (which I had working as backup today), it always showed the 5 streams in the directory.

With the new DNAS, same config, I can see only 1 station and it has been linked the wrong way. It links to my second stream which is a AAC+ stream and, when you click the play button it won't play (because it is AAC+, not MP3).

How can I get all the streams back in the directory or... change the link in the radiomanager? (because you can't change the link) See picture below:

I don't think you can change the URL because it is set automatically.

Maybe SHOUTcast uses another system for this now. With another radio such as PulsRadio it is the same. You can see on the Radionomy page that the AAC stream is also used there, although there is also an MP3 stream with 192 kbit/s. See for example here:

The best option, I think, is to make separate radiostations in the radiomanager to give them all a different authash.... You agree??

That might explain why my 500 NOK error went away. I thought I was imagining things when I fired up the server and it connected for the first time in months.

Neither of my streams play, along with other stations in the avant garde genre. Download links don't play either.

There's obviously still some issues with the listings (empty pls/m3u, station not playing, listener counts at 0, etc).

Hopefully they'll be fixed asap, though probably not until Monday
(only I'm daft enough to work outside office hours, 24/7)

We shall see. Tickets for engineers/devs are marked as critical.
I can't personally do much more.

Hi,

I had to restart my service tonight.

Now i get this kind of errors :

ERROR [METRICS sid=1] Request failed on YP with Connection time-out
ERROR [METRICS sid=1] Request failed on notification with Connection time-out
ERROR [METRICS sid=1] Request failed on audience with Connection time-out

After a few minutes my stream is downgraded to 128 kbps ... with a Valid Licence !!!

Nothing as change in my config except the restart .

It's once again a nightmare !

But i still have this error frequently in the logs :

Restart the stream more often. On my end, keep it up:

If you've got a ypaddr= line in your sc_serv.conf, remove it.

Specifying an ip will force it to use just that one server instead of potentailly any of three.
So if there's an error with that one specified server at the time, you won't get registered until said error gets fixed.

I've also seen ypaddr= lines point to an old ip address which no longer exists.

Likewise for ypport= and ypPath= lines..... just remove them from your config, if they exist. They're really not required.

Before I deleted my account I had the error from Repelzteeltje too. Though I didn't have any specific yp parameters in place. This is especially sad when the DNAS wants to get the AAC+ stream up or any ad insertion features which are only available with premium.

It seems the errors are intermittent, right now it works:
