Build SHOUTcast Station with Web Hosting

Hi!
I'm newbie, and I have a station in free SHOUTcast hosting. But the feature is very limited and the pro account is too expensive for me. I want to make a station with web hosting and I want to add some features like auto-DJ, and support with SHOUTcast v2. But, if you have another good idea, just tell me.

as long as you have hosting and the means to install / run things on it, then there's nothing stopping you manually setting up the tools needed to achieve what you want. though for a lot of people, they don't find that easy and is why you tend to find you have to pay the hosting providers a bit more to get access to such features without having to do the setup yourself and so on.

so is down to price of convenience vs how much you want to control yourself.
