MP3 header

Hi,

How can I find the beginning of a valid header if there is no ID3v2 tag, and WinAmp reports that the header is at a random offset (that is not zero) ?

Thanks !

The first byte of a mp3 header is 255 and the second usually (not always) 250.
For further information see http://www.id3.org/mp3frame.html
