Yes, I know this has been done before. I recently remodled my whole workspace (took me 8hrs straight, had to pull every single last audio/video/power cable out and back in again and redistribute power).

Far Left Moniter: Controls the two Servers
Middle: Control Room Video Moniter for the show
Far Right: My primary workstation/graphics/audio

Everything else is labeled. Server1 handles all my Active Directory stuff and Server2 (webserver) is broke and is being taken apart on my floor.

Where can I get that image on the right monitor? As for me, my computer desk is nicer than all the equipment on/in it.

Mine's in one of the desktop threads (february or march iirc), still looks pretty much the same except I dumped the shitty MX1000 and got a (wired) MS Laser Mouse 6000 instead.

Quite a bit, although in winter that room didn't need much heating. That was until I switched just about everything to VMWare, which ran on a server in a different room.

I don't think they're a consumer item just yet. Probably somewhere that supplies medical, military systems etc.

Last I heard, US$50,000 is the ballpark figure.

For some reason, my GPU now gives me a "gray screen of death" when I use a second monitor, so now my trusty ol' 10-year-old CRT just sits there taking up space.

Indeed, a few things from that picture are straight out of the '90s.
-The big TV is out of the late '80s, but I never watch it although it's still in brand new condition (this isn't the main living room - although I rarely watch the newer one either).
-The stereo gear dates from the '60's-late '90s. It's all in perfect working order, so I won't throw it out either. I used to have a bigger house where I could spread it out throughout, but in this small place, a lot gets stacked here - there's a lot more in boxes.
-The desktop computers are from the P2 (white), P4 (dark gray), and Core2Quad (black) eras.
-The laptop computers are from left to right back row - Compaq Pentium 4, Compaq Pentium 1 (MMX), Core2Duo HP EliteBook (still less than a year old), the Macbook is Core2Duo (brand new), and the front laptop is a Core2Duo ASUS (less than 2 years old I think). The two newest laptops are owned by the school and are my work machines (back right white and the one next to it).
-the VCRs are from the '90s.
-The Nintendo and Atari are from the '80s.

The room is a mess - don't quite know what to do with it all at this point.

What sort of radio is that? I have something similar in the extreme upper right of my pic (it's a Kenwood R-300 Communications Receiver). Your desk is very clean and neat. I like that.

Kenwood TS-830S ham radio HF transciever. It's the last hybrid model they came out with, meaning the final amplifier and driver are both tubes, but the remainder of the radio is all solid-state.

My desk isn't often that clean... I just cleaned it up a few weeks ago so I had some workspace available.
