Press G for Gain

I never read anywhere about "G" being one of the hotkeys, but it seems to effect the GAIN level and really helps enhance many of the presets colors which often can be too white washed out. Try holding down on g until the current preset i s almost too dark to see, and then just watch and the next few presets will not be so dark, but the color will look a lot more NEON and rich, and the textures will stand out more too. Try it.
You can brighten back up again if you want by just pressing capital G instead of lower case g.

it just affects the 'Gamma' level (G). It saturates/desaturates colors towards the maximum/minimum of their rgb values.

Oh I see. I guess I didnt understand it correctly. But it still can make a great difference in how good some of the presets look.

If the preset writer did not make the gamma right in the first place it can make a preset look better. SM

yeah, i don't know exactly how it works but it can make for more interesting colors. It's a big framerate killer though...
